David was born in Adelaide (Australia) in 1965. He now lives and works in Melbourne.
David's Art reflects a sophisticated and satirical observer of society, history and current affairs. His paintings appear in private and public collections in Australia, Italy, Germany, USA, UK & Japan.
David won the Sulman Prize in 2007 for his painting 'The Axis of Elvis'. He was a finalist in the 2009 edition of the Gallipoli Prize, and in the 2012 editions of the Black Swan Art Prize and Sunshine Coast Art Prize.
David teaches art at the Sol Green Centre in South Melbourne. He also offers informed tuition for professional, student and beginner artists in all media.
